Welcome to the website and online-portfolio of David Kemp, or Mr Kemp as I'm known to my friends. I am a published illustrator who produces hand-drawn and print-ready artwork in a bright, friendly 'children's picture book' style.

I'm known for my grainy line and flat colour work but I trained originally as an animator and so can turn my hand to pretty much any style if need be (for 'copy work' etc).

My published work to date includes various posters, leaflets, illustrations for exhibition catalogues and both packs of the educational Challenge Me! Activity Cards for Jessica Kingsley Publishers. One of which was recently shortlisted for a NASEN award!
